i have a friend that's been invited to participate in the miss america pageant! too bad she's 4"10'!
i've started looking at housing for senior year. thank god jbbc's got $885,000.00 in accounts receivables. i've already started working on a spreadsheet.
today on the t i saw a woman trying to drink a diet coke and this man kept hitting into her. i didn't feel bad for her at all because you just shouldn't drink a diet coke on the t.
this morning on the bus i sat near a man who was missing his right arm. it made for a much more comfortable ride, i must say.
i love pumpernickel bagels. they remind me so much of cozy meals at faegan's with courtney.
as of right now, i have no textbooks to purchase at all. i'm really frustrated with one of my courses; we've already been told that it requires 150 hours of work this semester, and it was offered to us that we could do 30 during the summer. i've emailed the kid in charge multiple times and he never responds. furthermore, i'm not even registered for the course because he's such a slacker. klewinski's in the exact same position; if this keeps up i'm outta there so fast.
maria and lindsey leave for madrid within the next week. i will miss them more than they will realize. have a safe, incredible semester, guys! i've got an MSN date (haha) with mather tomorrow, and i can't wait!
four more days left of work!
things i want to do before i leave boston: go to more cupcake stores, hit up mike's bakery, shop on newbury street again.
things i want to do when i get home: eat s'mores, jump off stand by me, jump off the soldier pond bridge, swim at the ropeswing, swim at the falls, tube down the fish river. swim in my pool with duke and moe.
it's funny the things i've learned in the past week that are genetic. ayuh, court?
so i've been thinking a lot about the resources i currently have if i ever decide to become an entrepreneur fo' real. i've got katy, a lawyer. i've got a crazy pr practitioner in laura. janielle can help with my accountancy. mather will help with advertising and writing and finding me placements. i can take claire with me on trips to secure financial support for men to look at. i haven't figured out what court will do..maybe she can just pick me up and drop me off at the airport and get me pumpernickel bagels. i feel like she could handle those responsibilities well.
i think i'm going to start wearing crocs again. every where i go, any where i go, every time i go anywhere. thoughts? you should see the massive crocs store in quincy!
i am counting down the days until europe. well not really, but kind of. i am going to find us secret bars like "please don't tell" and "milk and honey" in nyc. hmm, i will never bring janielle to PDT; you enter through a secret hot dog store. she'll never make it into the bar. but i'm going to find some private, secret bars all over europe and i'm going to make us reservations at them. even if we can only get in at 1:00 am.
you know, i really think i would like to actually be in slytherin. speaking of slytherin, i really want to see the movie inglorious basterds! so not my type of film, but nonetheless, i'm interested. julie & julia will be in brunswick when i'm there saturday night and i definitely plan on hitting it up.
did you know that preschoolers can get depressed? also a woman from new york is suing her college for the cost of tuition because she can't get a job. archaeologists found a new, underground city in venice. if you follow jetbluecheeps on twitter, you can get mad cheap domestic flights; $9 from SYR to JFK is one particular option.
i am kind of sad that i am leaving boston a tad too early; two of my favorite people in the world will be in town this weekend and i will not be here to see them. harumph.
the smell of metal really bothers me and i feel like it is closing in on me more and more every single day.
i'm very stressed about which meal plan i should select for this semester. please help. also word on the street is that the new ernie davis gym is going to be mad sick; 7000 square feet. that's bigger than my entire house.
today at work i drank 4 nalgenes full of water. that is the equivalent of 120 ounces of water. the bladder can hold about 16 ounces of water at a time. think of how often i am going pee.
if an apartment for rent in syracuse has a wood stove in it, do you you think you have to get wood to heat the place? i hated hated hated doing wood at my brown house growing up and have avoided cross lake for a decade now when it was happening there. i feel like japs and kids at 'cuse don't do wood. still, important.
i just got word that i have a friend who's currently working on the amazing race. that's something i would totally do some day. i need a partner, though. any takers?
i realized today that after this week i don't have to get up early again for a very, very long time. all of my classes are late, my flight to 'cuse is in the evening...so i just don't know when i'm going to have to do it again. well, i mean, besides church. and we know how much i love that.
mad props to syracuse for it's big mention in the new york times today.
my insurance company wants me to take security counseling classes because i got my stuff stolen. yeah i'll pass on that.
watch your facebooks. people are creepers. also, if you haven't changed your privacy setting that currently allows your photos to be used for ads without your permission, do so. settings>privacy>news feed & wall>facebook ads>no one. save save save!
there is an organic farm in grand isle! i might drive out to it when i'm home. they have crazyyy strawberries, from the looks of it. i really want to go to the syracuse real food co-op out on westcott when i'm back at school, too. courtneyyyyyyy. also, court and i are starting a new tradition of going to a bakery on fridays after thursday nights. and janielle gets to be included on our meat-eating dates this year. i haven't decided if i'm going to start eating red meat or not again. hmm.
anyways, i've got a full bladder i've got to take care of.
you've probably seen this before, but i still feel the need to pass it along. nothing makes me feel better even when i'm my bluest of blues:
catch yea on the flipside. stay epic.
